Piezopy is a dashboard for monitoring AWS cost, usage, and CodePipeline activity across one or more accounts. This page covers how to sign up, log in, and what to do first.
What you need before starting
- An email address.
- Access to an AWS account you want to monitor (you’ll need permission to create an IAM role in it).
You do not need to install anything on your AWS account before signing up — the IAM role is set up after you create your Piezopy account, with a guided flow.
1. Sign up
Go to the sign-up page and create your account with an email and password. You’ll receive a confirmation email — click the link in it to verify your address.
2. Log in
Once verified, log in from the Piezopy dashboard (or click Login in the top right of any page on this site). You’ll land on the Dashboard view.
If you forgot your password, use the password reset link.
3. Register your first AWS account
A fresh Piezopy account has no AWS accounts connected yet, so the dashboard widgets will be empty. Your next step is to register an AWS account so Piezopy can pull billing data and pipeline status.
The full walkthrough lives at Register your AWS account. Briefly:
- From the dashboard, open the Accounts menu item.
- Click Add Account and enter your 12-digit AWS account ID and a nickname.
- Follow the IAM role setup guide that appears — pick CDK, manual, or validate-only.
- Click Check Account Permissions. Once the check passes, the account is live.
After validation succeeds, billing data starts flowing within a few minutes and CodePipeline status (if any pipelines exist) appears alongside it.
